Jukebox Durie is our weekly review of the best (and the worst) Scottish football songs. As Rangers’ missing millions look set to join Lord Lucan in the list of greatest disappearing acts; and as a certain large Glaswegian YouTube star mistakes a modern football stadium with no bedrooms, few electrical sockets and enough toilets for 50,000 men as a “big house”; Jukebox Durie is proud to bring you a new song by… Frank Sinatra?!

This isn’t the first time that Frank Sinatra has been linked with Rangers: in 1990 Frank performed his final ever Scottish show at Ibrox Stadium. It’s also not the first time he’s been linked with Scottish comedy: Frank’s support act that night at Ibrox was none other than than the legend that is Arnold Brown.

But Frank has surpassed himself with his new song, which bears more than a passing reference to one of his old classics, this is ‘Rangers In The Shite’.

As Frank Sinatra is dead he’s asked us to mention that he was helped with this song by Fife Comedian of The Year Tommy McKay aka The Sensational Alex Salmond Gastric Band.

About the Author
After too many years as season ticket holder at Parkhead, Andy Todd renounced the SPL three years ago to support Queens Park. One team is a rank bunch of amateurs who play in a state of the art stadium and the other is…(I think we can all see where this is going).

Andy has been performing comedy for 18 months but is currently ‘between gigs’ while he writes a book on Scottish property law to be published in Summer 2012. Its potential audience will be less than 300 but his mum will be very proud.
