The time is almost upon us where football fans across the nation burn this season’s official replica kit in a cleansing fire.
For those who have had an exciting and successful season, the fire is a way of offering sacrifice to the gods of football who may next season bless you with a run in the Europa League. For the rest of us, the fire is a way of sending toxic plumes of smoke up to the football gods as a curse.
That means you’ll be on the lookout for new ‘kit’, ‘clobber’ and ‘stuff’ to satiate your lust for sporting goods. Luckily, Scottish Comedy FC are going to bring you the top (not necessarily nicest) new football shirts launched and leaked every week until the start of next season! Aren’t you lucky?
5. Roma
In their tradition of bringing out simple but stunning shirts that no-one except a chiselled footballer could possibly pull off, Roma have gone and brought out another belter this year. While the two-tone maroon should be vomit-inducing, it really works!
4. Cambridge United
It must be terrible to have to swap kit designers half way through the process, but this is clearly what Cambridge have done with this effort which looks like someone’s looked at a printing error and gone, “Yeah- that’s what I want!”
3. Swansea
Swansea’s kits can be a bit hit and miss and the gold involved over the last couple of seasons was often quite hard to pick out among a sea of white. Whether a move to ‘copper’ will solve that problem remains to be seen but they certainly look pretty tidy at first glance.

Is this the nicest Celtic away kit in years? Yes. It probably is. Good job New Balance.
