Do The Right Thing is a film from 1989 which tells the story of a New York neighbourhood’s simmering racial tension. A tension which comes to a head and culminates in tragedy on the hottest day of the summer. It is a rightly thought of as a cultural classic and one of the most important films of the 80s.
Do The Wright Thing is a song from 1993 co-written and sung by Arsenal legend and latterly offside prone Celtic striker Ian Wright. It is rightly thought of as one of the worst football records ever made.

Strangely, Ian knew he was likely to be attacked for releasing a single so tried to bridge the credibility gap by asking a world famous pop star to co-write the song with him. Unfortunately he chose keyboard boffin Chris Lowe of the Pet Shop Boys and not his partner and songwriter Neil Tennant. Which is like asking Lady Gaga’s drummer for fashion tips. Or asking Allan McGregor for his guide to abstinence. Clearly, Iain Wright did the wrong thing…!

After too many years as season ticket holder at Parkhead, Andy Todd renounced the SPL three years ago to support Queens Park. One team is a rank bunch of amateurs who play in a state of the art stadium and the other is…(I think we can all see where this is going).
Andy has been performing comedy for 18 months but is currently ‘between gigs’ while he writes a book on Scottish property law to be published in Summer 2012. Its potential audience will be less than 300 but his mum will be very proud.
