What is it about EA Sports? Every year they pretty much let us down with their tiny improvements and scything swathes of cuts from their flagship football title FIFA and yet we keep going back to them.
Here we go again, just when we thought we were out, EA Sports have gone and pulled us right back in again. Launched at their E3 presentation yesterday, the new FIFA trailer has fired the loins of football fans across the world.
Again.
Whether it’s the (long overdue) introduction of women’s teams, the higher fidelity on the faces of the players, the much improved ball mechanics, the promise of more stadium immersion, a tantalising glimpse of a tunnel interior or just that absurd Yannick Bolasie flick against Spurs, FIFA’s many and glaring faults are momentarily forgotten.
