Week 2 of the Scottish Comedy FC Fantasy Football league and they were tough times for many of our previous top 5 with some dropping out and others making massive strides toward the top of the league.
It was another week to forget for those with superstar attacking midfielder Eden Hazard in their team. A woeful 1 point showing has left many wondering if he’s worth keeping ‘in and around’ the team, especially when Riyad Mahrez is still banging them in for Leicester.
Romelu Lukaku’s two goals for Everton against Southampton, coupled with another strong showing for Vincent Kompany helped out a lot of people who believe in the Premier League’s Belgian contingent. Can they continue their strong showing this week? Everton are up against Man City – so watch you don’t dilute your points!
Lets take a look at the Top 5 for Week 2 in the league…
Raymond Simpson’s Raz’s Rejects have kicked their way into top spot, displacing Rory Dillett’s Dillettinho & Sons who find themselves in third place. Our very own Iain Todd continues to make strides, taking second spot with Abcde F.C., while strong showings from Barry Anderson’s Barry Town United and Michael Wood’s excellently named Dembélé Galaxy saw them break into the top 5.
Join us next week where I’ll be cursing the fact that I thought I was going to get 11th and ended up in 36th place, I’ll still be putting off naming the best team name, and Riyad Mahrez will finally have been crowned the king of Fantasy Football.
