You probably thought that, like most people by this point in the season, we had lost interest in our Fantasy Premier League but no! Scottish Comedy FC is committed to bringing you a Fantasy Football roundup once a month or – closer to the truth – until we eventually lose interest too.

What’s been happening in the crazy ol’ world of Fantasy Football then? Well, anyone who hasn’t used their transfers to put Jamie Vardy, Riyad Mahrez and the prince of Saint-Pierre himself, Dimitri Payet into their team have likely been left languishing at the bottom of the league. In fact, of the top 5 teams in our Fantasy League (more on that later), only one team doesn’t include at least one of the terrifying triumvirate.

It could be a big month too as people scramble to find a replacement for goal machine Sergio Aguero who is going to be out until the middle of November. Looking at cheaper options for the time being seems to be a good shout, meaning that you’ll have enough cash in reserve to pick the diminutive Argentinian back up when he’s fit.

So onto our league then and it’s been a really big month with the top 10 starting to come together and, barring a barren run from their squads, it’s easy to see them finishing the season on a high.

If you see your team’s name in our Top 5 congratulations… and I hate you. I’m still down in 31st while the highest place member of the Scottish Comedy FC team is Eddie Cassidy whose Gyan Yersell side are currently sitting in 8th.

We’ll be back next month when everyone will be injured and we’ll all be praying for the sweet release of December.
